Children’s Psychiatric Center
Provides mental health services to children and their families in Miami-Dade County. Services include outpatient therapy, on-site therapists in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and homes, prevention and education programs. Day Treatment Services include care services, group therapy and tutoring in a group setting.

FIU – Childhood Anxiety Phobia Program (CAPP)
Provides comprehensive diagnostics, assessments and state-of-the-art treatments for children and adolescents who are experiencing difficulties with fear and anxiety problems. A free initial evaluation is offered for children suffering from excessive and persistent fear or anxiety.
Institute for Child and Family Health
Mental Health, Case Management, and stabilization services are provided annually to children who have been diagnosed with a psychotic, depressive, or anxiety disorder, and have a Children Global Assessment Scale of less than 50. Children must be eligible for Florida’s Kid Care Program and will also be enrolled in Children’s Medical Services for their medical needs.
the STEPS Program
STEPS (Structured Therapeutic and Educational Program Services) provides therapeutic programs developed in partnerships with schools, preschools and child care centers to provide comprehensive mental health services to children and families on-site in their educational environments. Visits also completed in clients home environments. Accept Medicaid.
